WELCOMING REMARKS FROM THE DEAN

Welcome to the web site of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine University Malaysia Kelantan. We are second only to University Putra Malaysia to offer a veterinary program in Malaysia. Currently we have our second batch of students, making total environment 80 since we started in July 2009. Our first batch will graduate in 2013. Our current team of pioneering faculty members, are developing dynamic learning opportunities for our students, so that they would be able to provide society with the best animal healthcare services, and impact on the food security and development of the livestock industry.

We want to work together with other vet schools around the world, in ensuring best learning opportunities for our students, the continual education of veterinarians and scientists and to improve the quality of life of pets and their owners, the array of creatures big and small and our commitment to our environment.

To fellow veterinarians out there, let me assure you that this is a very exciting time to be involved with our faculty. It is young, and you can help us shape it. If you are stopping over in Malaysia, or you would like to visit Malaysia and would like to share your experiences with us, consider visiting us in person. We would like you to share your experiences with us.
